  1. I think that a moderator trying to “fact check” during a debate is ridiculous, and also counter productive. They should leave it to the other debater to correct anything that is said that is incorrect or misleading. That’s part of having a debate. You have to be able to respond to what the other guy says - not just recite your talking points.
