  1. Mark Halperin made an excellent point. The people that want to debate whether Trump won with a mandate or not, or exactly what mandate means and whether these circumstances meet that definition, are the same people that refuse to seriously consider WHY it was that Trump won, and they LOST! It’s like they are so busy rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic that they failed to appreciate the risk of the iceberg. It sounds like some of the arguments that I have with my husband, where we end up not really addressing the issue in dispute, but arguing about what the issue actually is. :)
