Part of the reason that Margaret Brennan had the mics cut was because the moderators wanted to “keep control.” They just can’t stand to not control the narrative.

I don’t agree with Moynihan, about whether Trump should go on 60 Minutes. The problem is that 60 Minutes won’t air anything that makes Trump look good, or makes their interviewer look bad. So, even if Trump records the interview himself, and releases the clips that 60 Minutes doesn’t air, no other than Trump supporters will ever see them. But, the selectively edited clips that 60 Minutes actually broadcasts will actually be used in main stream media to try to make Trump look bad.

Kmele, no matter what, Trump is going to be Trump. He isn’t JD Vance, and really can’t manipulate the question and pivot like Vance can.

I think that Trump was pissed that he had lost, and he couldn’t believe that it was true. I also think that the Dems changing all of the voting rules and local ballot harvesting, Zuckerberg ballot drop offs, etc., gave Dems an unfair, and possibly illegal, advantage. So, Trump was maybe thinking all of these people that came to the capital were also pissed off, and he identified with them. I’m sure he didn’t want them to hurt anyone, or to do anything extreme, but he also wanted them to be able to express their displeasure, so he really didn’t try very hard to stop them. I still don’t see any of what Trump did like an insurrection, and the Dems have totally exaggerated what happened, and the January 6 prosecutions are ridiculous and a huge miscarriage of justice. But, Trump definitely could have spoken sooner and more publicly and more strongly to shut it down. I think that is the basic argument.

It was the most ridiculous thing in the world for Leslie Stahl to say that the Hunter Biden laptop “cannot be verified”. Did she seriously think that the FBI, with all of its IT expertise, cannot determine, beyond a shadow of a doubt, who a laptop belongs to? And, let’s reverse things - if we had a Republican administration, and something potentially incriminating against someone in Trump’s family appeared on an electronic device, she would be sitting back saying “well, it can’t be verified, so I guess we just move on”? BS.

People just have to decide what they want for this country. Do they believe the BS that Kamala just came up with in the past 30 days, or do they want what Trump actually did in the four years he was President?

I think that it would have made sense for JD to call Walz on his terrible record during the BLM riots IF that type of an issue had come up during the debate. Or even if an issue had come up in the debate that would have allowed a logical segue to the BLM riots. But there really wasn’t a related issue that would have allowed that. For JD to bring it up out of the blue would have just looked mean spirited I think. Especially because Walz isn’t running for President, just VP.
