  1. I lived around Mennonites and drank beer with them.  It is not quite the peaceful life as presented.

  2. Amish are simply people with the same faults as other people.  I have not lived around them but I have other Mennonites  They argue and fight etc.

  3. She should have visited a Hutterite commune.  She could have seen communal life that succeeded unlike the same in China that failed.
