  1. You are wrong. Japan apologized and paid compensation to China.   That is the only way China would establish diplomatic relations with Japan.  Are there Chinese thieves?  Yes just like there are Japanese thieves, American, Russian, European and others.  My wife as a little girl lived in Dorado , Sinaloa, Mexico and her and her pals would steal vegetables from the Chinese farmers.  There is lots of corruption in China.  Bribery is the name of the game.  I did business with China and bribes were always in place.  Chinese companies are not very reliable and oral commitments do not mean anything.  Even written agreements are not reliable.  They will back out of all of them.  You must be extremely careful dealing with them.  Japanese companies will stick with you forever.  They do not make commitments and then back out and are upset if you do that.  I think Chinese women tend to be very materialistic.   In selecting one, you must be careful that she is not looking at you like a ATM machine.  Japanese women want stability.  They are not looking to be rich but ascribe to be middle class.  They expect you to work.  No slackers.  Learning Chinese or Japanese likely will go a long ways in resolving many conflicts.  I dated a Chinese girl in College.   Sorry she was not subtle or submissive.  She was very open and frank and said what she wanted to say.  Harry your friend Bob is a pervert.  Huh?  He looks at my legs. Suzie I look at your legs.  You can do that because you are my boyfriend.  Ha ha ha.  Remember there are 1.2 billion Chinese and you cannot generalize about all of them.  Just be careful.  Do not hurry things.  Don't throw your money around.  Be generous but not a damn fool.  This will show her you know now to manage your finances.  Be a gentleman always.  Most Asian women are not used to that but love it and will eat it up.  You also must make up your mind whether you are looking for a woman or a hooker.
