  1. My daughter and I drove an hour north of where she lives in Elko, Nevada.  One pickup truck only.  You can go to some wide spot in the road in Nevada and still find a great bar.  It is there for the miners and cowboys.

So how is she with the rattlesnakes, chiggers, ticks, fire ants and thorns on every bush?  Sorry lived in Texas and did not like it.  Every piece of land was private and you could not walk anywhere.  Nevada and Oregon I can walk for miles, ride horse or ATV or 4x4.  If I want to hunt buy my license and tag and just go. The same with fishing.

  10. When you live in the West you can walk for miles and see nobody.  No signs to tell you to stay the hell out.  You can camp, hike, fish, hunt and fart all you want.  Out here you don't have to love thy brother, just leave the SOB alone.

  18. Ely, Nevada.    4,000 people who live in the middle of nowhere.  Nobody locks their doors on their houses or cars.  Hunting 10 minutes away and fishing 20 minutes. Plus casinos and bordellos. What more do you want?
