Violence begets violence.

I don't suppose it's capable of mercy. I assume that producing blood-spatter and a corpse might create more of a future hindrance than a clean egression.

He was better known here in '90s Britain as that kid (Damian) from Aussie soap opera Home and Away. His co-star Dieter Brummer took his own life two months ago fyi.

oO(But why did the liquid metal T-1000 have to arrive naked 🤔)

I find this scene too aesthetic on every level to be genuinely chilling.

Just queueing up to be knee-capped 😂

"More" lol. That's the last thing this boring, puerile, video game needs.

I had a free ticket, sat front row for the first time in my life and alone also for the first time in a cinema. Sorry to say but this was utterly forgettable. Only things I remember about this preposterously overhyped film: white albino(?) twins with suits and dreads, swearing in French (something about toilet paper), Hill from Oz and Will Smith's wife living in an underground cave where Neo's become a nobody to the wretched inhabitants that Morpheus would preach to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Last temptation??? There's no sinister soul-destroying con here. Imo this is an allegory for the foolish bachelor sacrificing his freedoms, ego and potential for the fantasy of a loving marriage.

Biden in Ukraine.

Is this a parody of Jeff Bezos?
2
Night vision probably isn't ideal for performing surgery.

Is that regarded a family car in America?
2
Feels like a comedy with soap opera acting.

I can't help but hear: Macadamia? Pistachio?

RIP George Floyd.

@yei46fyfgh68 Madonna's Open Your Heart (1985).

I'm glad someone pointed out that weirdness.

With 21st century sensibilities it'd still be artistically worthless.

What are those little dots of light moving across the actors at 2:40 and 3:16 ?
1
As with James Dean, perhaps he invested too heavily in the deadly sin of vanity over safety.

@joaniekeyser4036 Public competition for a Hollywood star was a necessity?
1
@joaniekeyser4036 I wasn't making any moral judgement on his choices; just wondering whether being perhaps highly self-conscious of one's image distracts from the relative ugliness of dreary, life-saving practicalities. I could have added stuntman motorcyclist Eddie Kidd to the list of seriously disabled pretty boys as well.

"I have powers beyond reason!"

It was more like a dance sequence.
1
Bit too human imo.
1
@splatbubble Thank you, now amended above.

Seemed to be no necessity in answering "Wrong." imo; plus Schwarzenegger's affectionate hand on the bonnet and skip up the kerb, both felt wrong for a Terminator to me. Never noticed the T2 fortelling at 1:58 before.
1
To have economically shot the man sans final retort, would have neither cost nor risked the mission anything. Far as I can tell, it was entirely superfluous and did indeed serve as a cocky catchphrase.
1
Do you Yanks really say "afterward" without the s?
1
@tanupprasai9245 But one would think that its memory could retain data of some type garment from its own time.
1
@39Hundred I suppose that would explain why we didn't hear metallic noises when it knocked into things.
1
@SuperSayinSolidSnek I had the same thought regarding the latter. Back in the '90s I bought a making of T2 book, which quoted director James Cameron telling his artists: "Never mind technicality, make it look cool." (paraphrased).
1
I don't recall that, but this was the first and only film I ever saw in the U.S. and the audience was notably much more lively and vocal than here in the UK, where I also saw this film shortly after.

Oxymoron.
