  12.  @willieearles3151  I just can't get into it. Firstly I've a fundamental aversion to prequels, the ensemble looks formulaic, lacking in charisma* and the whole thing has a miserable atmosphere. In my view it's a poverty of purpose production that unsurprisingly failed. *Though I did much enjoy Bakula in Quantum Leap. In Enterprise however, he looks constipated in every respect.

James Cameron's Aliens is a legitimate sequel to Scott's Alien, just as Berman's Star Trek: Voyager continued Roddenberry's Next Generation series. I'd even go so far as to say that Nirvana furthered the trajectory of The Beatles.
