  2. Pro-tip: to get heat out of the vents, leave the mode in "Auto" and the center vent temp dial at the neutral. The car expels hot air from the lower vents, warming your legs, and as it warms up air will begin to flow out of the top vents. I've never had a problem with heat delivery, but I do live in warm SoCal. Either way, I left it on auto for a trip up to the 30ºF mountains recently, and I never had a complaint about how it worked. YMMV.
