Tower seven was hit by THOUSANDS of tons of debris when the towers collapsed. There was a 22-story gouge taken out of one corner and it started a progressive internal collapse that could not be stopped. The firefighters and engineers who surveyed the building after the Towers collapsed noticed a prominent bulge in the SW corner between the 4th and 9th floor indicating the buildings support system was compromised. It was then they pulled all the fire fighters out of the building and set a collapse perimeter. They knew it was going to collapse from the very beginning.

@SchwiftyThings You are wrong on every point you tried to make. Just as an FYI, I was an eyewitness to the attack on the Pentagon. I only saw the plane for about six seconds from my car but I had a clear view of it flying right into the building.

@eldavieo Except it is not a NIST story. My opinion is based on an article written by a civil engineer in the Civil Engineering trade Magazine called Structure Mag. In that article, the author demonstrated how the loss of a SINGLE column would have started a progressive collapse that could not be stopped.

@alfredpeasant5980 I can tell you have never bothered to do any research yourself. The Majority of WTC 7 was across the street piled up against the Verizon building, doing millions of dollars in damage to it.

@gluecksdrache2054 So I was an eyewitness to the attack on the Pentagon. I was driving in from Virginia that morning, I only say the plane for about 6 seconds, but I had a clear view of it fly right into the building. it was a large two engine commercial aircraft.

@DougalDouglas-d3k Google, Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 1771. It was crashed deliberately by a former employee. It hit the ground at a 70 degree down angle at supersonic speeds. When rescue crews arrived on scene they did not believe they were at the right site. There was NOTHING there that could be identified as coming from an airplane. The largest fragments could fit in the palm of your hand.

@richardpidaniy6915 You do know that Larry Silverstein DID NOT but the WTC, he LEASED it from the NY Port Authority, right? You do know that as part of his LEASE agreement he was REQUIRED to have terrorism insurance? You do know that his lease agreement REQUIRED him to repair or replace any buildings damaged or destroyed by terrorism right?
