  2. If you go just far enough North where the Southern cross does not come above the horizon you could build the most powerful telescope ever created and STILL NEVER see the Southern Cross. Yet a human could walk 30 miles south and see it with the naked eye....how do flat earth believers explain that?

  3. I served as a gunners mate on the USS Iowa BB61 in 16 inch turret number one. Battleship gunnery PROVES that the earth is round and rotates. Lets say the Iowa is at the equator with the nose pointed north and is stationary. Next lets place two stationary targets at equal distance at 35,000 yards, one bearing 90 degrees and the other bearing 270 degrees. If I am shooting at the target bearing 90 degrees off the bow I have to add feet to my firing solution in order to hit the target. Now if I shoot at the target bearing 270 degrees off the bow I have to subtract feet in order to hit the target. Can a flat earth believer explain why would I have to add feet shooting to the east and subtract feet if I am shooting to the west? I will also point out that the number of feet I have to add and subtract is at its maximum at the equator and those corrections get smaller and smaller the more you move towards the poles.
