  1. The out of Africa theory for the origins of humanity has been an accepted theory for decades. While all humans originated in Africa it is a stretch to say that knowledge started in Africa. As the various population groups moved out of Africa they advanced rapidly and Africans were quickly left behind. By the time Europeans started colonizing Africa the Africans were thousands of years behind Europeans from a technology standpoint.
