  1. As a veteran of the USS Iowa BB61 I saw how the NIS falsified evidence in order to charge Clay Hartwig with deliberately blowing up turret 2 on April 19th, 1989. I have ZERO faith that this sailor did it knowing the Navy culture of find someone to blame at all costs.

  2.  @davidreed3357  Considering I was interrogated for MONTHS by the NIS on my relationship with Clay. How I was on 60 minutes for a story they did on the Iowa and had to testify in front of the House Armed Services committee I would say it is a pretty strong chance I was there lol. What chief Gunners mate are you referring to and what did he tell you?

  3.  @Illiteratechimp  I will grant you that I am heavily biased. When I saw the news story about a sailor being charged so many unpleasant memories came flooding back. The NIS will NEVER have any credibility in my opinion, not after what they did.
