  2. Can I ask what kind of model rocket engine you used? I am not a flat earth believer but this should not have worked. Disposable model rocket engines often use black powder for their fuel, they will NOT burn in a vacuum. I also noticed how easily you opened the end of the tube after the rocket burned. If the tube was holding a vacuum opening it would not have been so easy. That said the rockets that go into space have two different chemicals that when mixed provide their own oxygen and ignite just fine in the combustion chamber in a rocket.
