@abysswalker2594 While the eastern cougar is listed as extinct in states east of the Mississippi that is pure BS, they have been seen in Maryland and West Virginia.

@nomdeplume2213 Bears certainly can catch them. There are coyotes as well as Mountain Lions which are very rare but have been making a comeback in much of their former habitat in the last 40 years.
