  1. So I worked in Pest Management in the MD, VA, and DC Metro Area. I treated thousands of Section 8 housing units and this is what I saw on a regular basis. Universally Section 8 Apartments had MASSIVE big screen TV's. Multiple game consoles with more games than GameStop. High end stereo equipment and MASSIVE speakers. Nobody would be home but all the lights in the Apartment would be on. In the summer when it was in the 90's the section 8 apartments would be in the 60's. In the winter the heat would be cranked up to the 80's. That indicated they did not pay their heat and electricity bills. In the parking lots all you saw was late model cars, and a lot of luxury cars and SUV's. Once every 90 days this section 8 housing would take enrollments and the line of people trying to get on the waiting list would stretch for as much as a MILE......I measured. 99.9% of the people in these section 8 housing were able bodied adults, they were just experts at working the system.
