  1. There was a computer wargame called Reforger 88 on my Atari 800. It dealt with a hypothetical Soviet invasion through the Fulda gap. My strategy was to immediately give up almost all of Germany, pull back behind the Main river around Frankfurt, dig in and blow the bridges. While this was going on I was busy winning air superiority. The Soviet forces would throw themselves against my defensive line but could not break through. After achieving air superiority and weakening the Soviet forces I would stage a breakout with fresh reinforcements and encircle the Soviet Army against the Main river and rout the entire army.

  6. A new confederacy would win easily. Most of the military bases are in the South. They would start off with a huge advantage in equipment. Plus all the candy ass liberals in the North wouldn't know how to fight a war. All they would do is shout racism in the hopes it would scare away the new confederacies soldiers.

  9.  @agentp2432  It is no secret Haiti is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and it has been so for nearly a hundred years. NO STATE can survive with that level of corruption. In the DR I am sure there is some corruption but they keep it under control so it doesn't destroy the state.

  10. Afghanistan can be conquered if you have the political will to do so. You would need to invade and depopulate the country to a point where you break the populations will to resist.
