  1. People think working remotely is somehow being lazy. I worked for Liberty Mutual and the Pandemic came. We were all sent home and worked remotely. Sales and productivity WENT UP by around 15%. After the Pandemic Liberty Mutual did not reopen the offices, they saved that money of leasing office spaces and let their people keep working from home.

  2. Growing up I was told there were two paths you could go. Work for the Government where your pay would lag behind the private sector but the benefits and job security were far better than you would get in the private sector. Well today Government employees are at the TOP of the wage scale. The AVERAGE salary for an American in the Public Sector is $64,000. The AVERAGE salary for a Federal employee is $106,000. As wages stagnated in America over the last 30+ years, Federal Employees were getting steady pay raises. Not only do jobs need to be cut but salaries for Federal Employees need to be cut by 40% minimum.

  3. The Federal Government for the most part is just a jobs program to employee the most people as possible to keep unemployment down.

  4.  @adamcasas6519  LOL No it did not, sales in production went up because people were more comfortable working from home. I sold a ton of auto and home policies in sweatpants, t-shirt and slippers.
