  2. What if they are not from space, but are from an advanced civilization from the sea? The oceans are largely unexplored, and life started in the oceans long before it did on land.

  3.  @johnmule9419  I know he didn't say that, I am just speculating on what is more probable. Aliens from a distant galaxy or an earthbound, yet undiscovered civilization under the ocean. It seems more plausible to me that there is an advanced underwater civilization vs Aliens traveling hundreds, even thousands of light years to get here.

  5. They have reverse engineered them decades ago. The main reason why a lot of the tech has not been released to the public is MONEY. If they jumped our technology several hundred years in the blink of an eye, all the money that would be lost from trickling out technological advancements over time can't be calculated.
