@C C Well from a biological standpoint our sole purpose for existence is to pass on our genes. It is a hardwired instinct in our brains. So when someone does not want children, it is quite unusual and for people who where the instinct is very strong they can not comprehend someone not feeling like they do.

@doinganerin5871 Well from a biology standpoint the only reason we exist is to pass on our genes, that is IT. So when people make the decision not to have children it is strange for people who are driven by that instinct to reproduce. It is not just women, I got that my whole life when I was clear I did not want children. I heard the same thing, when your older you will.

They could have been saying that without her gang...Marshall, Lily, Barney, and Ted to share her life with, her individual success was not as fulfilling as she thought it would be.
