  2.  @Moss_piglets  Humans did not destroy coyote habitat, I can tell you are ignorant on the topic with that silly response. Coyote populations were once controlled by other apex predators like Wolves and Mountain Lions. We hunted those two apex predators into near extinction and the Coyote population exploded. Add in that the more urban our society becomes the less hunters there are contributing to Coyote population control. Add in that Coyotes are extremely intelligent they have figured out that there isn't hunting, trapping, poisonings or other apex predators in urban and suburban areas they have moved in with us. Snatching up small dogs, cats, squirrels, rats and any other small animal that lives with and among people is a lot easier to catch and kill that hunting game in the wild.

  6.  @aolegario1  The teaching moment here is ALWAYS assume the person in the other car is potentially dangerous and don't escalate a situation on the road. It started when the two people cut off Aidens mom. Considering the shot came through the rear of her vehicle say to me that in addition to the rude gestures she probably sped up, cut them off and slammed on her brakes. I would bet 99% of the time when someone cuts someone else off it is because they were in their blind spot. I have done it 4 or 5 times in my life, I ALWAYS wave shake my head and say I am sorry. It happens. The point is don't escalate an incident on the road, ever. You never know who is in the other car.

I am willing to bet when they cut her off she flipped out drove very aggressively around them riding the horn, cut them off and slammed on her brakes. The shot came through the rear of her vehicle. Think about it people are not going to fire a gun over the finger. That doesn't excuse what happened but I guarantee she had her part to play in this terrible tragedy.

Always assume the other driver is potentially dangerous and don't put yourself in a situation where an incident on the road can escalate out of control.

  21. They need to get some tracking dogs and a pack of Pit Bulls to hunt these Coyote's down and exterminate them like the vermin they are. Coyote's used to have a fear of people and avoided us like the plague because they were shot on site. We need to cull the population in a big way and instill fear in the survivors so they go back to avoiding us.

Drugs like cocaine have been illegal for 60 plus years, did that stop ANYONE from having access to cocaine? There are COUNTLESS gun control laws on the books now that are not enforced, so how about instead of campaigning for new laws, demand our Government at the Federal, State and county levels enforce the laws currently on the books.

  37.  @tink-rite3976  I am a US Army Infantry vet so I had my fill of shooting guns in the Army. I do not own any myself but I am still a staunch supporter of the 2A. That said I think background checks need to be more stringent. I think if you own a gun you should be required to have a gun safe where you can keep your weapons locked up where kids can't get them or someone can't steal them. ETC, ETC
