  1. LOL The United States would defeat China quite easily. You point to Afghanistan but I counter that the United States didn't WANT to defeat the Taliban. What you don't seem to understand is that the military industrial complex holds tremendous power over here. They own many congressmen and senators outright and what they want is the policy the Government is going to follow. Our campaigns in Afghanistan and Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, terrorism, freedom, WMD's, etc. These campaigns were all about war for profit, there is no money to be made in winning a war the money is in doing the bare minimum in order to keep the conflict going as long as possible and under the radar so the apathetic American public ignores it. Compare Afghanistan to Vietnam, the war in Afghanistan lasted TWICE as long yet we only suffered about 5% of the casualties that we did in Vietnam. It is CLEAR there was very little combat going on in Afghanistan yet we spent over 2 TRILLION dollars there accomplishing NOTHING. Look at when we ACTUALLY fight, in Desert Storm we defeated the Iraqi Army that was combat hardened and fought a war for TEN YEARS against Iran and the American Army defeated them in 100 hours. China would be seal clubbed with little effort in an actual conflict. Also the Russian submarine fleet is TRASH, mostly from YEARS of neglect. Their Sierra II, Victor III, and Akula subs are all hopelessly outmatched by the Virginia and Seawolf class submarines. The Yasen class subs are CLSE in capabilities to the Virginia class submarines but there are only two of them in service.
