As a Veteran I find it extremally distasteful that Dan Snyder is going to profit from my Veteran Brothers and Sisters who made the ULTIMATE sacrifice in Iraq and Afghanistan by naming his team something military related, virtue signaling how patriotic he is and how much he supports the military. It is all CRAP, Dan Snyder never had the GUTS to serve and more than likely would collaborate with the enemies of America if he thought he could make a nickel in the process. Today my association with this team is OVER. I will not support a garbage human who thinks it is ok to profit off of the blood others have shed. Today, I am a Baltimore Ravens fan...AND I AM TAKING HTTR with me because it works just as well for the Ravens. Hail To The Ravens Hail Victory Birds On The Warpath Fight For Old MD!!!!!!!

Why, Doug Williams played ONE good game for this franchise. Are you saying Timmy Smith's #36 should also be retired?

@jeromebrooks7 LOL Of COURSE you had to make it racial. Doug Williams was an excellent QB for a lot of years with Tampa Bay but for Washington he played ONE great game, the Super Bowl. He injured his back the very next year. In total Doug Williams played 14 GAMES for Washington. You don't retire numbers for guys who didn't even play a full season with the team.
