@dezinedude1417 Not even close, if you were going to compare them the Arrow would be a Sopwith Camel and the F-108 an F4U Corsair. The Arrow's AIM-4's required the arrow to be closer than 6 miles to the target. The F-108 was designed to engage enemy bombers at 100 miles. Combat range of the Arrow was 410 miles, the F-108, 1,162 miles. Arrows service ceiling 53,000 feet, the F-108, 80,000. Maximum speed of the Arrow, 1,307 MPH, the F-108, 1,980 miles per hour. These two aircraft were not in the same league and it wasn't even close.
