@nikolaivasilev7371 How about the T-4 would not exist if it wasn't for the work done on the XB-70 which clearly the T-4 is based off of. Just like the Soviet Space Shuttle, it was their attempt to directly copy the US Space Shuttle with some small design differences.

@winternow2242 From the canard placement to the air intake and engine layout and nose cone that drops it follows a long line of projects the Russians tried and failed at to copy western designs.

@winternow2242 LOL Yes the XB-70 did have a articulating nose, it had two positions. One for taxiing and one for supersonic flight. As far as the intakes and the canards those were finalized on the XB-70 design in 1958. I am guessing that you are a Soviet Fanboy and refuse to see how they were always trying to steal western technology and copy it. I bet you think their Shuttle was purely an internal design and it is just a coincidence it looked exactly like the Space Shuttle.

@winternow2242 The wings have the same delta wing design but the T-4 had leading edge extensions. The air intakes are nearly identical including the distinctive arrow shaped structure just above the inlets. While it is not an identical copy any reasonable person can see the T-4 design is heavily influenced by the XB-70 and the XB-70 was probably the starting point for the design.
