Look at the ruins of the Roman fort in Resafa, Syria on Google maps and then look at the Temple mount. Is it coincidence that they are nearly identical? Similar in size? Even the slight asymmetrical appearance is identical on both structures.

The problem with Ron's claims is he does not supply any proof. I get that he had some blood tested. There is no chain of custody and the source can't be verified. The test results themselves need to be verified by a second lab, that is how science works. It would be incredible if it were true but with fantastic claims comes the need for proof.

The one question I have that can't be explained so easily is, in 1968, in the southwest area of the “Temple Mount’s” southern wall, archaeologist Benjamin Mazar discovered a stone incised with the square Hebrew alphabet used in the Herodian period. The decipherable words were interpreted to mean “To the place of trumpeting,” an actual location on the temple mount walls mentioned by Josephus where the priests blew a trumpet to announce the beginning and end of the Sabbath day. Mazar assumed it had fallen from the southwest corner.

No, he only thinks he did. There is ZERO evidence to support the Garden tomb was the site of the crucifixion. Where as Christians have been going to where the church of the holy sepulcher has been venerated at the site of Jesus crucifixion and burial site for nearly 2000 years.
4
@FrankBroughtonNY I get what you are saying but the location inside the Church Of The Holy Sepulture has actual archaeological evidence to support it being the more probable place of the crucifixion, burial and resurrection of Jesus. There is evidence of first century agriculture, there are multiple 1st century Jewish tombs on site. It was an abandoned rock quarry which Jews used to dig rock cut tombs in. Read my reply to Dog Serious for a more detailed description.
4
@FrankBroughtonNY It doesn't really matter what they look like today or what religion says what. Just as an FYI the Church of the Holy Sepulture is shared by the Catholics, The Greek Orthodox church, The Armenian Church, The Coptic Christians, The Syrian Christian Church and the Ethiopian Christians. I will also point out that the Garden Tomb was carved in the IRON AGE about 600 years before Jesus birth. So it is IMPOSSIBLE that it is the right place no matter how it looks.
3
The Garden Tomb was carved in the Iron Age, about 600 years before Jesus was born. The Garden, cistern and wine press all date from the crusades. There is a ZERO percent chance it is the site Jesus was crucified.

3
No it is not, In Jesus time it would have been too far outside of the city.
3
Unfortunately saying God chose someone to do something does not constitute proof. I followed Ron's exploits for over twenty years and the flaw I find in his methods is he always found what he was looking for. I am sure if we dropped him off in the middle of the desert in America and told him he was in the Judean desert he would have found something from the bible there.
2
@GodzHammer I understand that but if you look at a map of Jerusalem in Jesus time I want you to look where the Praetorium was. It was right next to the Gennath gate. The Praetorium is where Jesus was taken before Pontius Pilot and judged and it was there he was sentenced to be crucified. If you go out the Gennath gate the site where the Church Of The Holy Sepulture is a short walk away. Logically it makes far more sense Jesus was crucified there. Gordan's Cavalry is a long way from the Praetorium and it doesn't make sense to crucify him there. There is grafitti at the site that proves that Christians were venerating the site less than 100 years after Jesus death.
2
@manseth3 lol you would be wrong, by trade Ron Wyatt was a nurse anesthetist, Archaeology was a hobby. Ron had ZERO training in Archaeology, he never took any archaeology classes in college. It is crazy how some people are so desperate to believe his nonsense that they will IGNORE REALITY in order to do so.
2
The Garden Tomb has exactly a ZERO percent chance of being the place where Jesus was crucified and buried. The Garden Tomb itself was carved in the Iron Age, about 600 years before Jesus birth. The garden, cistern and wine press date to the time of the crusades. That place is the literal definition of a tourist trap.
2
You have it backwards, it was God who became flesh and bone. It is simple logic, if God is all powerful, nothing is beyond him.
2
Since the Quran was whispered into the ear of Mohammad by Lucifer you can be certain that those satanic verses are lies.

I love telling my favorite athiest joke all the time. I tell people I am an athiest and they say really? I reply Yes, I swear to God.

Not to mention, the High Priest's house was also close to both the Pretorium and Herod Antipas's palace.
1
Your comment is literal nonsense. The Garden Tomb was carved in the Iron Age, about 600 years before Jesus was born. The Garden, cistern and wine press all date from the crusades. There is a ZERO percent chance it is the site Jesus was crucified. Christians have been worshiping at the site of the Church of The Holy Sepulcher within a decade of the death of Jesus, hundreds of years before the Catholic Church ever existed.

You would be incorrect. Fortress Antonia was located in the north east corner of the temple. Fortress Antonia was not designed by the Romans, it was designed and built by Herod the Great and given to the Romans for their use. I will also point out that before the Jewish rebellion there was NOT a Roman Legion stationed in Jerusalem At most it was a cohort of about 600 soldiers. The Roman Procurator did not stay in the fort, he stayed in Herod's old Palace and it was called the Praetorium. It was the living and administrative center for the Romans in Jerusalem. The silliness of trying to use the not one stone left upon the other as some sort of scientific evidence is laughable. The platform that Herod built, what we call the temple mount is not part of the temple. The Temple was built on top of it and not one stone was left upon another when it was destroyed. Stones from that temple were cast off the temple mount and they are huge piles of temple stones at the base of the Temple Mount.
1
@Silverheart1956 I have continued to study this theory and I no longer believe the Temple Mount was a Roman Fort. I believe the TABERNACLE was in the city of David but not the temple itself.
1
@Silverheart1956 I was going to reference the scripture that talked about bring the Ark out of the city and up into the new temple but you covered it already. I saw where in the stones piled up against the walls of the temple mount they found an inscription for one of the trumpeting stations. As well as a video describing what they think were shop locations beneath Robinsons Arch where you could buy animals for sacrifice, etc. I have seen another interesting claim supported by a few Archaeologists that say that the Jewish Temple was actually in the Jewish Quarter. They base that off of first century Synagogues Torah Arks were supposed to point to the holy of holies. Some first century Synagogue remans were excavated and the Torah Ark does not point to the Temple Mount but to a spot in the Jewish Quarter. Excavations at that sight have turned up massive numbers of Murex Trunculus snail shells were discovered. Murex Trunculus snails were believed to be what was used to make techelet, the blue dye for tzitzit (fringes) on prayer shawls. The Archaeologist believe that this dye was made at the temple itself so they theorize that the temple may have been in the Jewish quarter and not on the Temple Mount. It is thin but interesting as heck.

The Garden Tomb was carved in the Iron Age, about 600 years before Jesus was born. The Garden, cistern and wine press all date from the crusades. There is a ZERO percent chance it is the site where Jesus was crucified. Ron Wyatt was a CON MAN. He had ZERO archaeological training but for some reason people like you blindly believe what he has to say without bothering to do ANY research on the topic yourself.
1
The Jews need to understand that to restore God's presence in Jerusalem, they must cleanse the Temple Mount of the unclean buildings that stand there today. They are an abomination in the eyes of the Lord and must be torn down, so God's house on earth may be rebuilt.
1
LOL Ron Wyatt was a charlatan and it is hilarious how so many people believe his nonsense without any evidence to support his wild claims.
1
@legendarysermons9621 Except the site has NOTHING to do with the crucifixion and resurection. The Garden Tomb was carved in the Iron Age, 600 years before Jesus life.
1
Ron Wyatt was a CONMAN...... He has ZERO evidence to support his wild claims. Here are some FACTS about the Garden Tomb. It was carved in the Iron Age, about 600 years before Jesus was born. The Garden, cistern and wine press all date from the crusades. There is a ZERO percent chance it is the site Jesus was crucified. Why are people like you so gullible? Why are you willing to believe something someone else says without doing any research of your own?
1
They were not, the Black Hebrew Israelite claim is literal Pseudoscience. It was created by Black people in America that are so ashamed that their ancestors were farm equipment that they invented an entire alternate reality in order to make themselves feel better about themselves. They are WEST AFRICANS who were captured by other west Africans, sold into slavery PERIOD, end of story. They have NO CONNECTION to the biblical Hebrews, so stop trying to steal their identity.
1
LOL You would be incorrect sir, the garden, cistern date back to the crusades. There is a ZERO percent chance Jesus was crucified and buried there.
1
The hubris of man knows no bounds. God created the universe and everything within it, do Muslims really believe some masonry and a cemetery will prevent Gods will from being done? If they do then I say they don't really believe in God in the first place.
1
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher WAS outside the city in his lifetime. It was at the intersection of two major roads. It was close to the Gennath Gate, which was right next to the Pretorium where Pilot judged Jesus.
1
The Garden Tomb was carved in the Iron Age, about 600 years before Jesus was born. The Garden, cistern and wine press all date from the crusades. There is a ZERO percent chance it is the site Jesus was crucified.
1
@misskay8790 The could date it by the tool marks and the metal shavings in the rock.
1
@whitneyprice6098 Well Josephus said that the Romans completely razes Jerusalem to the ground. He said you could not tell that anyone had ever lived there and the only thing left standing was the ruins of Fort Antonia. So it is plausible that the "Temple Mount" is misidentified. The simple fact that there is not a spring on its grounds should tell people they are looking in the wrong spot.

I do not believe the Ark would have been sitting on a rock. it is to crude for the Jewish Temple.
1
Those were Iraqi not Iranian!
1
@manseth3 The main problem with Ron Wyatt is that he was not an archaeologist. He had NO IDEA how to interpret what he found at his sites. If you had a brain tumor would you go to a proctologist for advice on how to treat it?
1
@misskay8790 LOL That is obviously not true. The simple fact that he thought the Garden Tomb was the Tomb of Jesus clearly demonstrated he had no idea what he was talking about. Think about this LOGICALLY for a second. IF God wanted biblical things to be discovered in modern times, he would have chosen to lead an ACTUAL archaeologist to make those finds instead of someone with ZERO training in the field.

I had a vision from God a few months ago. I was taken to the Temple Mount, it was a bright sunny day, I could feel the sun on my face, I could hear and feel the wind. I could hear birds chirping and I could her the noises of the city. On the Temple Mound there was a ball of energy, spinning and pulsating, it was so bright you could not look at it directly. I heard God's voice from the heavens and he said to me that it is time for the unclean buildings on the Temple Mount do be destroyed, they are an abomination in the eyes of the Lord. Once cleansed of evil and the holy ground reconsecrated it was time for his chosen people to rebuild his temple so he can once again dwell amongst his children. The ball of energy starting spinning and pulsating faster and faster, it began to grow until it exploded in a flash of light. In an instant all structures on the Temple Mount were swept away leaving a clean surface. The only thing on the Temple Mount was an ancient chest, and inside that chest was a collection of ancient carpentry and masonic tools that were used to build the second temple. God commanded me to tell the people of this revelation and I have done so. Ignore it at your own peril!
1
The Church of the Holy Sepulcure was outside the city gates in the time of Jesus. It was right outside the Genneth Gate, which was right next to the Pretorium where Pilot condemned Jesus to be crucified.
1
I believe that the temple was built on top of this structure.
1
The Muslims don't REALLY care about the Temple Mount as a holy site. They only want to keep it out of Jewish hands.
1
How about using your brain instead. The Garden Tomb was carved in the Iron Age, about 600 years before Jesus was born. The Garden, cistern and wine press all date from the crusades. There is a ZERO percent chance it is the site Jesus was crucified.
1
One thing that troubles me is that there is ZERO physical evidence that any killings were done at Treblinka. The only evidence is hearsay. 900,000 cremated bodies would create about 4,500,000 pounds of ash which was supposed to be buried in pits around the camp. No such ash pits have ever been discovered. In 2019 in a pit 49 human skeletons were discovered but those are the ONLY human remains to have ever been discovered there. If police were investigating the site as a murder scene there wouldn't be enough evidence to get an arrest warrant. That is a little strange to me.
1

1
I used to think the temple located in the City Of David by the Spring of Gheon was a possibility but it simply is not. The huge piles of stone that were thrown off the temple mount by the romans CLEARY identifies the temple mount being the location of the temple. One of those stones had an inscription on it marking it as one of the locations where the trumpeters stood. That was found at the base of the temple mount and ENDS the discussion of where the temple stood.
1
The gate proves that Muslims do not really believe in God. If there is Prophesy that says the Messiah will enter the temple mount through the Golden Gate do they REALLY think sealing the gate with stone can subvert Gods will? God, who created the heavens and the earth somehow can't overcome stones in a gate?
