  4. You can doubt it however I have been following this program since it first began. The Navy specifically states that the rounds are guided. Think critically for a moment no matter how good the ballistic computer is the accuracy of unguided rounds makes them a area of effect weapon. The rail gun rounds do not have explosives in the they rely on kinetic energy to destroy their target. If they could not hit targets with pinpoint accuracy the entire system would be useless.
