Interesting that the Egyptian icon shows two faces in one to suggest Jesus Christ's dual nature. Attempts by modern day atheists to reconstruct Christ's face as a Jewish man of his time fail to take account of that fact. Jesus Christ was not only the "son of Mary" as Muslims say but also the only begotten 'beloved Son' of God as the Father himself said. Matt. 3. 17. Arguably he bore some resemblance to his father, who was not a Jew. As Jesus himself said to his Jewish disciples, "you are from below, I am from above" .. he was not a usual human being. Did it show?
