TV takes a slightly different form in the UK, where wised-up Leftist voters will vote for whichever Leftist candidate in a constituency is best positioned to take out the right wing incumbent, eg. Conservative. Right Wingers don't do Tactical Voting, being more concerned about who they vote FOR rather than who they vote AGAINST. This results in Right wing vote-splitting which benefits the Left. Most recent example being ex-Conservatives (Rightist) voting Reform (Rightist) resulting in a Labour (Leftist) government.
