  1. Jesus Christ's two commandments. "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." All the (Jewish) Law hangs on these. Many people forget the first: to love God, though he said it was the most important. Many people focus on the second, to love people near you as you love yourself. Without loving God first, foolish people can make the error that Jesus was a socialist, when he was God on Earth teaching us the laws of life. ✝️
