  1. Her crimes might go back to her own birth legend. LL said she herself had a difficult birth and wanted to "help those who also had difficult births". Very commendable seeming but bizarre that she saw her 'difficult birth' as her experience rather than her mother's, but her mother and or father must have told her she had a difficult birth, perhaps they told her that repeatedly. Given that she was an only child perhaps they felt and expressed to her the 'miracle' of her birth - of her survival - unusually strongly. Did she feel this was her finest hour? Did she then want to relive what she could not remember but had been told about repeatedly, but found she couldn't feel the wonder of new life that she had heard so much about - because she has no empathy -unless it was snatched away .. and grieved over by loving parents under her wondering gaze? When LL was convicted her mother collapsed in court, sobbing and saying: "I did it. Take me instead."
