  2. This is not funny! This is God on earth. It was not a "flesh wound" it was a spear wound in his side to make sure he was dead on the cross before he was taken down for burial. Blood and water came out of his side because his lungs and heart were pierced. John 19.34 ✝️ #WakeUpToJesus

  3. @Phil Davidson Jesus is male. He was incarnated as the Son. According to him, and he should know, God the Father is a spirit. The Holy Spirit is rather obviously a spirit too. Spirits aren't sexual. But you know all this and are just teasing. ✝️

  4. He did walk on water to get to the disciples' fishing boat rather than make them sail all that way over to him. This was not a show of anything but a practical act from someone who isn't the same as thee and me. The disciples were terrified. ✝️

  5. @Phil Davidson yes John tries to make the point that Jesus was the Word in the beginning. He was with God and he was God. He was to become the Word made flesh who dwelt among us.

  6.  @ailius1520  Jesus wanted the bread and wine ceremony to be done in 'remembrance' of him, just as the Passover, which it replaced, was done in remembrance of the Hebrew slaves' escape from Egypt. Passover ritual food is not literally believed to be what it signifies; neither is the communal meal he instituted. However, when he said people must drink his blood and eat his flesh, and that he is the "Bread of Life" some of his disciples at the time thought he was being cannibalistic, just as some of the Romans thought the Christians were in later years, and left him because of it. They took him literally like some Christians do today. Jesus did not explain the metaphor about his coming crucifixion, nor did he try to stop them leaving. Following Jesus was always a choice, an offer he made to them and to us. (Matt. 22.14) Some of the remaining disciples were upset at seeing people leave and he said to them, "Does this cause you to stumble? What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?” it is clear his torture and death and the miracles which would follow were known to him and very much on his mind. ✝️
