@ericgwalsh hmm after our English (and partially Scottish) Civil War we had a dictatorship for a while until the ARMY begged the son of the King they had beheaded to come back and take the throne. Which he did to much acclaim in the Restoration.

@ezioauditore3128 he's not Thatcher but that's good. Thatcher would never have won London mayoralty. Thatcher would never have smashed the Red Wall. Boris is what we need here and now. More power to him. What we do when he's gone I do not know.

@ezioauditore3128 No he's not. I used to be a Blairite lol - as was much of the country before the Iraq war. Blair like all of the Left is an Internationalist which made him a Remainer, but Boris is a patriot for national sovereignty, Brexit and the United Kingdom. He has a huge fight ahead of him with Sturgeon, in trying to keep the Union together. But now Covid19 is behind him (it nearly killed him if you recall) he is ready for the fight with Levelling Up the nations, regions and coasts as his main weapon. More power to him.
