  2. Jesus substituted his own ritual for the Jewish ritual of Passover to be celebrated by his followers - all Jews - instead of Passover. Food and drink at Passover signifies events in Jewish history .. food and drink in Christ's ritual signifies his sacrifice. Passover is celebrated annually. There is no reason to believe Christ meant his ritual to be celebrated more frequently. "Do THIS in remembrance of me [instead of that in remembrance of Passover and the Exodus]."  #JesusWordsOnly
