Worse than that. Aisha did not "hit puberty at 9". She herself said, that she took her dolls with her at 9, when Muhammad took her into his house to consummate the marriage. Dolls are forbidden (haram) for adults in Islam. The fact that she still had her dolls, meant she did not "hit puberty" till after that. We don't know when. The late Ayatollah Khomenei noted that Muhammad visited Aisha twice a day for the three years he had to wait for her. The Ayatollah said he would have performed 'thighing' with her during this time - a 54 year old man and a 6 year old girl. The ayatollah had no problem with that. It is perfectly legitimate (halal) behaviour, because it satisfies the man without taking the virginity of the girl. This is Shariah.
