  3. I tried to seriously consider Woke but it didn’t take long before I woke up to its deficiencies …..it didn’t take long. It doesn’t beat good old homey common sense. I am so glad to hear that you think it has peaked and thinking will return to being mindful without being state commanded thinking.

  5. I am a senior senior and hate my phone. It orders me about……answer this, reply to that, order now, did you know, Jane smith says, answer me, even if you are in the loo, reply at once or you will not qualify. Oh I remember the peace of an old telephone that didn’t require my return reaction. Just gav me a message and I owed it nothing.

  8. When I was a child during WW2 I asked my father how people could follow a dreadful man like Hitler. He said that politicians on Hitler’s side were more powerful than ordinary people……….I think we are seeing that same scenario in embryo here in the UK. Time for us all to claw our way back to the sane ad sensible Great Britain that we seem to be loosing. Been there, done the other.

  10. I have got to grips with ‘woke’. I was never a disciple so it was not a problem to become ‘woken up’. I always thought it was a trick. It is and very very subservive,. We should stick to our guns and have in good old fashioned right and wrong as we used to. It worked then and can work now but needs time.

  11. Are ‘they’ trying to prove that putting the clock back will benefit each of us and every country. If so, lazy will win the day. Nothing will happen, no progress will be made and we will all lose in the long run.

  12. Labour come across to my mind as a bunch of 3rd rate thinkers. Not capable of holding a testing job in the big wide world. Lacklustre. Not one of them could stand up to Nigel Farage or a Winston Churchill or boris Johnstone. No fire, no pizazz , no humour. I am a floating voter so none of the usual remarks to put me down will apply.
