  3. Because they have always know the NSW hospital system is a basket case, and have just been hoping. That's what this whole issue is about, an already over-crowed hospital system that is going to collapse like a house of cards. Go to the emergency department at a major Sydney hospital on any night and it'll be painfully obvious. Rather than spending Billions on rebuilding not perfect by good enough football stadiums, or relocating the Powerhouse Museum to somewhere where hardly anyone will go, it should have been plowed into the health system.
