The 3RZ is nearly the same as the 2TR, both are 2,693 cc inline 4-cylinders with unnecessary balance shafts (I will be deleting mine next year) except the 3RZ doesn't have VVT-i with hydraulic lifters, and both are cast iron blocks with 12 freeze plugs. After really looking at his 2TR teardown video, my 3RZ seems much simpler than the 2TR.
