Even without what's going on in Ukraine, there is little Russia can do as it would be crazy of them to go up against the EU and NATO, Ukraine for Russia is seen as an easy target and yet they are having a hard enough time there, an EU or NATO country is too much for what Russia is capable off, at least going on what we've seen so far. Truth is, Russia will do what's it's been doing, it will complain and make threats, something it was going to do anyway. At the end of the day, Russia is violating a sovereign nation with Ukraine, they have no right in complaining about getting hit back for their own actions.
