Considering the history of Germany, it doesn't surprise me that they rather be more timid than hostile but that's history and I think Germany should come out more and become more bold in it's policies on the world stage and not hide behind the shadows of the second world war, after all, Germany of today and it's people are nothing like the Germans during the second world war. Still thought, if Germany did become more bold, some countries, namely the UK and some eastern countries might end up fearing that kind of Germany.

@karaaslan7402 I think you're speaking of the UK and US there which have supported many dictators over the decades when it's in their interest to do so, you only have to look at Latin America to see that.

@RiccardoRessi I agree but that takes bold moves from both sides and that isn't as easy to do and in this case, Russia seems to see the west as a threat to them which they are not whiles the west can't stand by and let Russia invade another country, regardless of what Russia thinks of Ukraine, the people in that country have the right to choose their own path and not have it forced on them like Russia is trying to do.
