  1. Coalitions work, but the more that are in them, the more complicated it gets and the less likely it will work. Grand coalitions have too many players involved with different views that can sometimes work, at least for a time, but in most cases, they usually fall apart on tough policy areas, especially if the parties in the coalition swing from the far to centre left to far to centre right of politics and basically is just asking for trouble down the line.
