Budget talks are always hard work in the EU, you have the ones that put money into the pot wanting to put less and then you have the ones that take out of the pot wanting more in and then you have all the wrangling over it, this happens with almost every budget they do, but they always seem to find a way forward in time, now Brexit complicates things a bit but it isn't really that big of a deal to the budget overall.
Still, I will be interested in seeing how this budget turns out once they come up with an agreement and what will likely happen is that they lock all the leaders in the room and keep them locked in though all hours till they come up with some kind of an agreement, they've done these late sessions many times in the past to get past difficult things before and it seems to work pretty well and better when staved of food and drinks lol but it's when they start getting tired in the early hours when the fun really begins, many end up agreeing just so they can go to bed lol.
Either way, this is no threat to the EU like some Brexiteers want to think, it's just business as usually in the EU, but I do think a better way is needed in doing this in the long run but for now, it works.
