This war is so costly for Russia and for what? They are hardly achieving anything, the cost lives and the economy is going to continue to grow and years from now, many will wonder, was it even worth it when it achieved little to nothing for Russia. This is going to be a painful and costly lesson for Russia and make no mistake about it, the US would love for this war to drag on so it does more damage to Russia longer term whiles being able to profit on it, the EU on the other hand, I'm sure some in some EU countries want the same but I suspect most want to resolve this war sooner rather than later as they don't want a war on it's doorstep, for the US, this war is distant and they see it as a way to weaken and isolate Russia and the longer the war drags on with Russia being bogged down in Ukraine, the worst of the impact on Russia.
