I've always had the impression that the US comes across as weak when it comes to Israel, like the US doesn't have an independent voice on the matter, they always seem to bend to the will of Israel, regardless of what Israel does. It does make you wonder, does Israel have a major hold over the US or are they really this blind when it comes to Israel? don't get me wrong, I can understand supporting Israel when it's right to do so, but clearly the US supports Israel no matter what, Israel is taking advantage of that by abusing that power and doing this it likely normally wouldn't do, and by not de-escalating the situation, the US is actually helping to keep the war going. Don't get me wrong, Israel has a right to defend its self, but it's clear to see that Israel is going too far, the US is one of the few guilty parties that is allowing that to happen.
