Russia and Turkey are not friends, they just use each other when it suits them, it's the same with China and Russia, as much as both dislike the west, both countries don't like each other and are using each other for their own ends, hence China taking advantage of Russia with cheap oil and gas. Another factor is this, for Turkey as well as China, the west, especially the EU and US matters a lot more to them than Russia does, especially on economic matters like trade, simply put, Russia is a weak player that's lashing out and wants to be seen to be a big boy but its economy is no match for the likes of the EU, US and China, hence why as much as Turkey and China doesn't like the west they are edging their bets in favour of the west, whiles throwing Russia under a bus and for good reason, the west is far more powerful in every sense of the word compared to Russia and we all know that we are only seeing crumbs from what the west is capable off.
