The problem I see, Israel had a right to attack Gaza when they were attacked themselves, the real issue is that Israel are taking this way too far, some would even call it genocidal, and the US shares much of the blame here by embolden Israel to feel like they can do whatever they want with no risk and I can't help but feel that the US is toning things down on Israel not out of wanting to do so but because there's so much international pressure turning on the policies that Israel is using, which kinda makes the US look bad by backing Israel on it. It really boggles my minds, how many deaths were needed before the US realised that Israel were taking this too far, or do they care at all or just reacting to international pressure, knowing that by the US backing Israel on these policies, it makes the US look bad. Either way, the US should be doing far more to get Israel in check, because it's hard for them to not share much of the responsibility when they've pumped Israel up so much that Israel feels they can get away with anything and the US will let them.
