@gubruikertje People are well aware that Israel didn't start the war, but the way Israel is conducting this war is overkill and many countries around the world are taking note of that, which probably doesn't help the economic situation. There's self-defence and wanting to respond to what happened, but clearly in the eyes of many around the world, Israel is taking it too far, which could escalate the war into something much worse in the region or it could damage Israel's economy longer term. Either way, the longer the war drags on, the less investment is likely to happen in Israel, the higher the chances of the war escalating in the region, it's not doing Israel any favours the longer it drags out.
