That seems unlikely in today's world Finland is an EU country and a modern one at that, taking them on would be a lot tougher than taking on Ukraine, also, Finland is joining NATO soon, so it would be crazy for Russia to even think about taking Finland on as it would compel the EU and NATO countries to get directly involved and considering how badly Russia is doing in Ukraine, they stand no chance against the west unless nukes are used but then nobody wins, Putin might be crazy enough to go that route but I highly doubt his inner circle or Russian people would want to go that route.

  2.  @wwondertwin  True, an EU wide solution would be the best option but that might be difficult because of Hungary.
