Braking up of big companies is bound to happen at some point, think about it, look at big companies 50 years ago, look at them now and it's not hard to see how big many can be in 50 years time which is way too much power in the hands of so few that it could even be a threat to many governments and rarely is in the interest of the public. The video alone said youtube isn't braking even so it's being supported by the rest of Google, that alone makes it a lot harder for smaller rivals to compete with it because Google is using resources from other products to help another. As for breaking up big companies, would it really be that hard? Many of them have different divisions, Google have search, Android, youtube and so on, all of which could be broken up as different companies, same could be said for Microsoft, they have Windows, they have the console division and so on and this is the case for many of these big companies because they bought out a lot of smaller companies.
