  1. On the one hand, we are progressing technologically, which should make our lives better and easier, on the other, social policies seem to be going backwards. The quality of life at our level of advancement should be much higher than it is and a big reason why it's not is because too much wealth is concentrated in too few hands, especially in the US where it's made worse with a weak social system compared to other developed countries. But truthfully, if we really want to blame anyone, there are 3 groups that are really to blame for this, governments, the media and most importantly, the people. Governments because they are not doing the will of the people, the media because they manipulate the news when they should be reporting it, mainly to protect the rich and powerful, something much of the media and governments do and then the people, the ones with the real power to do real change but are too divided and weak to take advantage of that, in other words, the real blame is on the people, governments, the media and all that are just a reflection of the people and if we want that to change then we need to change.
